Future EC ResidentsHelpful forms for Edgewood Commons
Thank you for choosing Edgewood Commons! We appreciate your interest in living with us and look forward to having you as a future resident. The information below describes each step in the application process. Please read it carefully and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Step 1: Housing Application
Fill out and submit the online application.
Step 2: Print Out & Submit the Following Forms
The 2017-2018 Housing Contract is now available. [Download Form]
Guaranty of Contract
This establishes a Guarantor for your contract – someone (usually a Parent or Guardian) who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the obligations of your contract. It’s similar to having a co-signer. The Guaranty must be signed in front of a notary, who will then complete the form and apply the notary public stamp or seal to validate it. All residents are required to have a Guarantor and will not be allowed to sign a contract without one. [Download Form]
If you are an International Student you will be asked to provide a copy of your I-20 instead of completing a Guaranty of Contract.
Non-Refundable Administrative Fee
A processing payment of $200 is required to accompany your signed contract.
Step 3: Optional/Additional Forms
Roommate Matching Form
This form allows you to provide information about you and your preferences for the purpose of matching roommates.
Gender Inclusive Housing Agreement
If desired, students can choose apartment mates of different genders within their apartment. You must sign up with 3 other FSU students. As a group, fill out this form along with a Guaranty Application for Mixed Gender Apartment and submit with your Rental Application. [Download Form]
Cost Comparison Sheet This chart compares the cost and amenity of Edgewood Commons and the Traditional Halls. The prices shown are the combined cost of your meal plan and housing for each semester. We provide this for you so you can make the best informed financial decision. [ Download Form ]
